John's educational background includes a BS in Finance from California State University, Chico. Before joining A. G. Edwards, spent a year working for Pepsi-Cola after his graduation. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, John provides expert and professional planning services. To obtain his CPF® certificate, he completed an approved educational program, passed a rigorous examination, and fulfilled strict experience requirements. John's commitment to excellence is evident through his adherence to a professional Code of Ethics and his dedication to ongoing education to stay up to date with the latest planning strategies and financial trends.
John and his wife Jackie have been long-time residents of Granite Bay, where they raised their two children, Kaleigh and Lucas. Before settling in Granite Bay, John spent 11 years of his childhood in Hawaii before moving to Susanville, CA where he completed his high school education. When he's not working or giving back to his community, John enjoys spending quality time with his family. He has a diverse range of hobbies, including golfing, exercising, boxing, skiing and snowboarding. Over the past 12 years, he has also participated in a number of triathlons, including 3 full Ironmans and a dozen half Ironmans. The discipline, time management, organization, and hard work required for these events have undoubtedly shaped his approach to wealth management, benefiting his clients.
